THE BEST WAY TO BE HEALTHY

Good attitude. Good blood. Good health. Good food. Good heart. Good life. It's all related. |
What they are referring to is the quality of the blood and its flow and the need for the removal of the plaque (fatty scar tissue) that builds up on the arterial walls.
Let's begin with, 'you are what you eat'. Or, better still, your blood is a reflection of what you eat. And your health is a reflection of your blood and your system.
Every part of your body is related and interrelates. What you eat and drink is also absorbed and used and filtered by your organs.
So, let's begin with the blood and its importance and the reaction of what we ingest. Let's try to understand the natural powers of food and how it can create a biochemical effect at the basic cellular level.
Let's try to remember that plants are medicinal and that modern medicine's pills are derivatives of plants and synthetics ingredients.
With that said, as always, do your research and of course, consult with your respected professional. Food is definitely within your control. And with food you have the ability to prevent, nurture, aid and depending on the malady, cure.
Also, with food there is no sole reliance upon 'an authority'. Educate yourself. Consult. Remember how the Dewey decimal system worked? Well, type in your subject in the search bar and research and find other reputable authorities. Meanwhile, there are many foods that are common, basic and so important to our blood that we have, as it is our pleasure, brought all of the necessary information together and present it now to you. Hopefully with a full and simple understanding of how basic all the authorities' and populous' 'talk' actually is, and how all of our food interrelates to our heart and health. Please note which foods are in the most categories because they will be the most commonly beneficial.
So, let's get healthy, by taking control over our blood. It's never too late and it is always within your reach. The proper food in your daily and/or weekly intake will help the flow of your blood to be fluid and free.
Certain foods aid a particular part of your body better than others do.This article is in connection with blood with an emphasis on vascular biology, i.e. heart attacks, stroke, and high blood pressure.
Below are only a few of the foods which would comprise a terrific daily and weekly suggestion for a very healthy blood diet. So the next time you're counting cholesterol and watching the blood pressure meter, and wondering if you are a potential arterial time bomb, remember these foods.
The most beneficial foods and amounts are: (5 or more servings a day of fruits and vegetables daily) celery - 2-4 sticks a day, carrot - 2 sticks a day, ½ an avocado a day, tomato, peanuts, glass of orange juice, almonds, apple, ½ yellow onion, potato, yogurt 1-2 cups, tea (5) w/honey or sugar, beans ½ cup, banana, red grapes, strawberries, pineapple (great for bones too), spinach - raw or lightly cooked, one cup of milk. Once a week: cabbage - slaw more beneficial than cooked; tuna/swordfish/salmon steak (Omega 3 everyday is better); asparagus; 2/3 TBLSP olive oil is very beneficial; garlic; rice.
Vitamins and minerals can double as antioxidants as well as enzymes and compounds. The beneficial antioxidants are laden in plant food and found in seafood and occasionally in meats.
An antioxidant keeps arteries oxygenated, keeps away the reactive oxygen, which damages molecules and deactivates free radicals. They protect the blood vessels from damage. They also trap oxidants so that Vitamin C can absorb them and rid them from the blood.
Antioxidant Foods - i.e. Onions are exceptionally powerful and beneficial.
Some other top antioxidant foods are spinach, watermelon, and tomatoes.
Antioxidant Enzymes - Q-10, contained in sardines, mackerel, peanuts, pistachios, walnuts, sesame seeds, and some meat.
Antioxidant Vitamins - E, C, almonds, sunflower seeds, soy, Carotene, Selenium.
Now lets
look at a few reasons why some of the foods work. For example: Potassium. It is thought that the extra potassium keeps the artery walls pliable and elastic for easy blood flow; thereby enabling debris to travel and the arterial walls to 'give'. Also beneficial to ease and prevent arthritis.
Fatty Fish Oils - Omega-3. Makes the blood less prone to clotting by discouraging blockage in cerebral blood vessels. The fattiness of the oils keeps the walls pliable and flexible so that any obstruction may slide by or 'give'. Nuts are a great source of Omega 3.
