Weekly Foods For Daily Health!By: Kendall Monroe "Give us this day our daily bread." is absolutely right. Only it's not just bread we need to eat daily; it's water and fruits and vegetables and proteins -meats, fish, and dairy. If you are like the majority of the populace, then we need to eat foods that are good for us, daily and weekly. Bread is excellent. It has protein and carbohydrates, which turn into sugar, and is nicely filling. But you must be careful of breads and all carbohydrates. Too often they are relied upon for mainstay nutrition. Such as, toast for breakfast, a bagel for mid-morning snack, sandwich, cheese and crackers, pasta for dinner, cookies for dessert. Sometimes, it is easy to fill ourselves up for the day, rather than pay special attention to all of the needed nutrients and preventative nutrient needs. Too many carbohydrates, upon turning to sugar in your body, will make you feel "strange", "unstable". You may not be able to think clearly or to move with fluid motion. Your heart may beat quickly. So, although it is nice to have filled tummies, they need to be filled with balance. |
