Hey gorgeous! Yes, you. The New Year has begun and it's time to take a look at ourselves. And a good look at that!

Let's examine our faces first, after all, that's the one place that everyone looks at, even the camera, all the time.

So, let's examine with a clear and confident mind and make our features the best they can be.

Now, to be perfectly honest, beauty comes from within. That doesn't simply mean that if you are kind, you are beautiful, it really means that how you are internally reflects and radiates outwardly, but that would be an article for Aron Neelie to write. 

Today, we'll just concentrate on enhancing our facial features by using our face's most important, natural elements.

Pencil, Mascara, Lipstick and Base

Pencil - Line your eyes. Pencil your brows. Pencil your lips with a complimentary lip-liner to your lipstick.

Use the pencil lightly and then blend, blend, blend. If you only have time to put on one thing, put on the pencil!

Your eyes - Where to line? Where the lashes meet the skin! Don't go overboard, this is not 1959! A little on the inside, inner top lid about and 1/8 of inch inward; and on the inner lower and inner top about an 1/8 of an inch. Liquid or pencil, it's your call.

Mascara - Use a good mascara for your eyes. We are crazy about L'Oreal products. Everyone looks at your at your eyes, so coat them and keep the lashes separated. 

No clumps, no glumpies, no smudges. And if you're being photographed, don't be shy in placing a few false eyelashes on the outer, top lid! If you don't like to wear a lot of mascara, just do the minimum and place the mascara on the top, outer-third of your lashes. 
Otherwise, brush three coats over every lash and watch your eyes take over!

Lips - Lipstick, a good one. Gloss, heck, even Chapstick can work in a pinch! 
But nothing says "I'm aware of my femininity" more than lipstick. 

Your color is dictated by either your outfit and/or by the season of the year. 
In today's time, purchase a lipstick that doesn't run; Max Factor,
Covergirl, L'oreal, just to name a few.

Base - Smooth-out your skin. We've battered our faces with the sun
and adolescence, now is our opportunity to smooth it out. 
If you have a blemish, cover just the top with a green or yellow dollop,
and use the new bases. They are light and natural. 

And for goodness sake, don't forget your neck. 
Blend, blend, blend. From your face to your earlobe and your face down your neck and your face into your hairline! 

Blend, blend, blend! And what do you use to blend?
