WHAT'S NEW WITH THE TIGER? GOLF By: John Swan What’s new with the Tiger? Well, just as you would expect, he’s coming out swinging like a champion, mentally anyway. His wound on his left knee is just a scar, and he can do everything “except for rotation, right now”, he said in a recent interview. And how important is rotation? Well, very.
Tiger is doing right by his body and by his Doctors and will not even attempt to try a rotation until sometime after the New Year, when his Doctor’s give him the okay. So, his rehabilitation will continue, his 6 practices a week will continue and certainly, during his recuperation, his spirits will begin to rise! But how will his following really know how he feels next year? During his injury, he kept the pain and the need to alter his game, private. Hopefully, he’ll include his adoring fans in his update, meanwhile, we’ll have to keep an eye on him through his latest project on the Mexican peninsula.

And how impactful is an injury? According to man himself, Tiger finds an injury far worse to deal with than pain. He stated that pain requires no change, but an injury requires change. Change to how you are used to moving, swinging and playing.
Yes, he’s designing a new golf course! And how smashing it will. 70 miles off of the San Diego coast, a private par 70, readying for play for 2011 awaits us all! So, yeah, we’ll keep our eyes on Tiger Woods, his game, his swing, and his future.
