BULLIES AND TERRORISTS Bullies and terrorists are really not so far apart, especially when it comes to their meaning and need for freedom.Bullies and Terrorists are both feared by all ages; not welcomed in any city; and both are concepts as old as the mountains. They both equally stand for the same thing, "What you want doesn't matter. Only I matter". Or more simply phrased, selfishness and lack of social conscience. More than the fact they exist, is the fact that they still exist, today. Not only do they still exist today, but they are more prolific, more vicious and more infiltrated and brazen, within all societies. Terrorism is an arcane means of rule, so why today is it still so prevalent?
They, more than likely come from a depressed, suppressed and oppressed society. They are susceptible to those with strong, loud voices and conviction. They have a difficult time seeing the end result from the immediate actions. And I would imagine have somewhat of a lack of a certain amount of "common sense" and an obvious lack of societal decency. In many ways, terrorists, on the face of it, sound like bullies. Bullies, people with their own rules, their own set of background problems, also sound like terrorists. Bullies are usually thought of as children who pick on other children. They are much more than that and above all, they are not always just children. Many grown-ups are bullies. Many salesmen are bullies. Many corporate executives are bullies. Unfortunately, bullies are often thought to be strong, secure; filled with a strong dose of inner strength. I believe the opposite. I believe they have a deep need. I also believe that if the bullies are children, that parents don't put enough importance on 'the child's needs'. I believe that parents put their children on a sort of 'auto-pilot. Parents often let them go about doing whatever they basically want to do, and then let it all 'just happen'. Some Parents notice, and also, some bullies may be so out of hand that they require attention. We, as a society, are thankful for the interceptions that work and the parents who understand the child's needs and process of healing. We are also thankful to the children who also recognize the need for their change.
Bullies seem to be almost an epidemic in our world. Every Country has more than their share of bullies. Some bullies act alone and some act in groups, and they terrorize those who are weaker. Then there are the children whose cries for help 'slip-by' all of those around them. Their crimes are not frequent enough or heinous enough to gain attention. So, the children calling out and acting out, become a certain "type-of-child". Label them however you choose. The bottom line is that they need something and no one is helping or noticing their need, let alone giving them what it is they do need. How awful. A child in need. It makes all our hearts ache. We all do all we can for the children. In every country, in every walk of life, the children are of great concern. Most unfortunate and just as furious and aggravating and damaging as those who were caught, are those who 'slipped-by'. And by the time that group is out-of-the-house, they simply mold into 'bully grown-ups' with jobs and few friends. Yet, the biggest question remains. Why? Why do the bullies and the terrorists find the need to torment others as a means of their own gratification? What is it within them that made them think and believe that their way of intolerance was the "right" way? The "best" way?
The bullies also are lacking freedom. In a child's world everything is really, really, really important. There are many times and ways at school for freedoms to be taken away; by teachers and by other students. Home is most often the place where the most damage is done; sometimes un-knowingly by loving, yet somewhat possibly ignorant parents; and sometimes purposefully by 'jerks' or 'adult bullies'. No matter how it is looked upon, freedom is taken away. Not relinquished. Not gifted. "Taken Away". No one's freedom should be taken away. When all is lost in the world, at least we can believe we have "freedom". Freedom.
Freedom is not a word anyone takes lightly, nor ever has. It is a word we all recognize as universal; on any level, in any language. Don't let other's take that away; from you, from the children, or from uninvolved, unsuspecting people. Don't let anyone, the bullies or the terrorist take away anyone's freedom. Stand up, stand strong and participate. God Bless Americaa and God Bless Our Allies.

I believe if we look at the larger groups of terrorists we would find that they are primarily from ancient lands, and from lowered social economic and social status with an extreme lack of gain in any economic growth.
Our hearts collectively ache with every Parent when we hear of the children and the horrors they commit.
We know that violence can be tolerated and even expounded, due to the saturation of viewing the violence; either in person or in the media. So that may account for the gruesome and heinousness of some crimes, but why do the bullies and terrorists insist that they have the "right" to take away someone's freedom. Nature dictates it is a matter of survival. But, we as mammals, with some form of education, obviously think immediately, that they must be, in some way, lacking their own freedom. So, we take that theory and apply it. The terrorists are lacking freedom and in their way to gain it, they destroy other's freedom.
That word means something grand to each of us. Something worthwhile, something strong, sincere, soulful.
